Since its creation in October 1975, the National Engineering School of Gabes has been making all its human potential and material resources available to:

- Train high level engineers in different specialities ,
- Ensure continued education and training to Tunisian technicians and engineers ,
- Contribute to the scientific, technical and economic development of the country.
